I’m happy that my father replied to my birthday greeting, and expressed his wish to continue connecting with me in the future. Thank you so much, Lord.
Thank you for my uncle’s girlfriend’s recovery from her illness. I’m happy that she’s feeling better now. And also that my mom managed to recover from that mysterious sickness that came upon her a couple of weeks ago.
Thank you that my family can now afford to cook at home. That we’ve finally graduated from eating canned and frozen foods every day. Our meals have all been wonderful and delicious. I’m happy to discover the passion and enjoyment I never knew I could find from cooking.
Thank you that my kimchi is once again a success. And also that my sourdough starter has survived to its eighth day today. I’m really excited to make bread with it, and to send some to my uncle’s girlfriend’s family.
I am glad that my mom and I were able to come across the three preachers from yesterday. It almost felt like a fated encounter. Like it was meant to be. All five of us were just at the right place at the right time. Their ideas were quite interesting. While I don’t fully agree with them, I am interested in keeping an open mind and listening more to what they have to say.
I would also like to express my thanks for the recent enlightenment my mom and I have received. Pertaining to the decision we’re making we believe will turn out lives for the better in the future. I am excited to step into this new chapter of my life.
Thank you that my mom’s anger towards my uncle seems to have disappeared a little. That she now cares for him again. I was afraid she was going to hate him.
Also, thank you so much for the artistic inspirations I’ve been getting lately, God. It’s been so long since I’ve had the urge to create something. It feels good to be back to my old art inspired self.
