My father has lung cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes, spine now his brain (two tumors) and he is not doing well. And my mother can not take care of him because she is a horrible alcoholic and pill addict who just got out of the hospital for her numerous falls. So I moved in to be a care taker for BOTH of them. BUT I used to live here because THEY were MY CARETAKERS…. I am on DISABILITY for MENTAL AND PHYSICAL. But now I have NO caretaker and I’m taking care of the SUNDAY-THURSDAY. Then THURS-SATURDAY I live with my grandparents to take care of them. My grandfather has dementia/alzheimers and my grandmother can no longer take can of them. I am so overwhelmed and have neglected my own health.
