Just a simple question out of curiosity.

As the Open Pulpit portion of this forum can not be replied to, then why does it show there is a certain number of replies? Where can one view these replies?

The forum in question shows 0 (zero) replies, but shows the number of views on the line below.

example:-

0 replies

199 views

(every time someone goes to a topic the view count increases by 1)

When I view it from main page of the forum, it shows there are in the Open Pulpit a total of 546 topics, and exactly 59 replies.

If one goes to a particular thread there it may show no replies and so many views, as you said.

This made me curious as to where the replies were.

There was a time when one could reply to a topic there. And admins occasionally make errors when viewing topic lists like "New Topics Today."

If you change the forum options to Show All topics it will show the topics that have been replied to, and may even allow you to view the replies.
