Hello,

I just recently became ordained. I apologize if this has already been asked...but the confirmation email I received from ULC of ordination be something I could print off and take to my local court house for registration?

Thank you!

Perhaps. It is up to the County Clerk in your county of residence as to what is acceptable for registration. They may require an original. Simply give them a call and ask if you can bring a copy or if you need the orignal.

Hint: Ask the question in such as way as to not give them the choice to select which they want. Ask something like 'Is a copy of my ordination certificate all you need to meet the requirements of the clerk to register clergymen?' If they require an original then they will correct you.
