Myself and many other Vampires are celebrating the Soltice as the Great Night (the longest night of the year). Whatever your particular path, I hope you all enjoy the Soltice too. :)

Actually a bit uneventful as rain, glorious rain, praise Gefjön, decided to dampen my plans.

However, regardless of weather, our hearts were warm and dry with the Spirit of things to come and a New Year of Promise.

I celebrated the Solstice with a special meditation at the Moriviví Hermitage. On December 21 begins the Pancha Gnesha Puja, and I performed Arati (the waiving of lights) in front of the Blessed One in the form Sri Ganesha, the Elephant Headed God. It was a moment of great joy.
