Big Bob
I am training with FasterEFT, which is a system to help people with their emotional and physical problems. I would like to use the Church (ULC) as a legal umbrella to keep me out of trouble. Is anybody doing this? Any comments?
BrDevon
Three words:consult legal counsel.
Dorian Gray
In addition to the excellent advice from Devon, check your state laws as well. Most have a provision for "religious counseling" but it gets to be a sticky wicket if you want to use other techniques.
Administrator mdtaylor Posted November 8, 2012 Administrator Report Share Posted November 8, 2012 And the accepted answer is... No, the (legal entity known as the) ULC is not going to, and cannot, provide you any protection at all. You are completely on your own. See above posts. Dorian Gray
Thanks Mark, I forget to add that the parent Church will not in itself cover you. You local congregation MIGHT, but see the above.
