Administrator mdtaylor Posted July 3, 2012 Administrator Report Share Posted July 3, 2012 So, dad goes out to get his newspaper this morning and comes back in with a flyer that someone had left in the mail box. "Baby Sitter, Ninth Grader, I love to babysit, Live just around the corner, $8 per child." That's where things started to go bad. "I wonder how much for older folks," I asked dad. He didn't seem to think that was amusing.
Hyper Real
I think one of the clearest difference between Western and Asian culture is the care for the elderly. Many Asians cannot understand why parents, who spend time and efforts in raising their children, are not taking care of personally by their children when they get old and that instead they are 'dumped' in some elderly home. Dorian Gray
Here I thought this was going to be about the "adult day cares" around here. The local strip joints bill themselves as that.
simplicitys-brother
I am not going to say whether or not I have been "taken care of" at one of them. :-)
