Can'T Use Options

If I try to use any of the options such as bold, italic, underline, smilies, or spell check they do not work. Thats not a full list of issues. But the basics. Also I posted this in another topic but I'll put it here. If I use fast reply box and I click out of it after putting my text in, then click back in the box my text disappears.

<br />To anyone having this issue: Need to know what browser you are using, when you have this issue.<br /><br />ironically, on my work computer (IE6) it works just fine...but on my home computer (IE7) it doesn't work.<br /><br />Maybe I'm usin 8 at home. hmm.<br />
<br /><br /><br />

IE 6 works well enough but with glitches.

Firefox 3.51 and newer betas does not work

Before Firefox 3.51 had issues but worked somewhat better.

I am guessing that the new forum is not IEEE w4 compliant in the fullest as of yet and will work much better on older browsers.

IE 8 glitches as well.

this thread has been passed on to tech support. be nice to them. :P

also issues

<br /><br /><br />

check your settings. RTE was default set not to work when I got into my account settings.

The break command is a glitch in the forum. I used the quote and did not edit them out.

I have checked and even with the settings updated the problem still exists. Until the problem does get fixed there is always the long hand method of putting in the html and bb code by hand.

I'm using Opera 9.64 and everything seems copacetic.

Well, except it's telling me that SalemWitchChild is a man.

Ok I'm at work right now and tongue.gif its working. I'm not certain what version of IE this is. But at home I'm almost positive I'm running IE7.

If you click the place that says "Help" on the IE window, then select "About Internet Explorer" from the drop down menu, you'll find out what version you're running.

Can someone with IE8....well...everyone...try to use the bold, italics, underline options now? Theoretically, fixed. Will have to wait until I get home to check..

Yes it seems to work!

Edit to add No more <B tags after quotes kimmy.gif
