Rev Goofy Mofo Posted April 20, 2008 Report Share Posted April 20, 2008 Death of an AtheistDeath the lingering darkness,How subtle yet fast it comes,We can not escape fate,Death in the end will win.There is hope however,Be you Atheist or not,Find reassurance in immortality,For you will live forever.When death takes you,Earth and you will become one,You and the earth will spawn new life,Together you will grow into tomorrow.Now look to the sky,See the stars shine,One day that will be us,Shining for all to see.Our atoms were created in the stars,We are all made of stardust,The old ancient star that went nova,Created the world we live in.Many many years from now,Long after we are dead and gone,We will be engulfed in a new nova,And together we will form a new Star.This is how we achieve immortality,We are part of an endless cycle,Years from now on a distant planet,They will discover us shining bright.I have recently joined Deviant Art and Love it!
