maybe......

Please Don't Bury Me by John Prine

Sailing Away by Tom Waits

Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen

Sweet Is The Melody by Iris Dement

Arms Of Mary by Leo Kottke

.....it's going to be a long service.

Nice list!

For myself... Epitaph by King Crimson, Always With Me Always With You by Joe Satriani (live version not the studio version with the silly drum machine clapping), Last Morning by Dr. Hook and Europa by Santana.

  • 2 weeks later...

BOC and Man-o-war are on my list as well.. But with a couple tweaks...

BOC- Astronomy-> Take me away-> Dancing in the ruins

MOW- Heart of steal-> Crown And The Ring-> Carry on

Also,

Outlaws-> Ghost riders in the sky -> Green grass and high tides

And of course the two greatest of all time, male and female...

If there ~is~ a Goddess as well as a God then Gracie HAS to be the physical embodiment of her, so,

Jefferson Airplane-> White rabbit

And since Franky is STILL a minor god,

Frank Sinatra-> It was a very good year

Thats all I can think of for now.... Of course.. As with most things I try to remember, just as the music starts at my death or funeral is about the time I'll think to myself "Dammit all!!! I forgot mention such and such!!!!":lol:
