RevRainbow Posted October 22, 2007 Report Share Posted October 22, 2007 Night ShadowYou appear only in the night, your shadow in the darknessof my room, barely seen, a form without substance I cannot touchnor feel, nor hold – just there, standing – an outline of yourselfformed with shades of days past filled in now with absence of lightin darkness displayed as shadow upon shadow, layer upon layerof same color paint distinguished only by the different brushstrokesdiscernible only to this artist who has created the night canvas, blackon black, devoid of vibrant hues which once were reflected in sunlight.An angel in the darkness, a night shadow, wings opening as to soarthrough my open window fearful of what the light may expose.
