  1. Hello All. I just became ordained and am a little nervous about this journey I am undertaking. I experienced the call about 6 years ago but did not follow up. I guess I had to wait until I felt I was ready. I feel sort of like a little fish in a big pond....or lake. However I am very excited and very happy the ULC found me. I say "found" me because I had never heard of The ULC til the day it popped up online. It caught my interest enough to research and decide to join. I took it as a sign. Everything feels so right.
  2. Hello from an older ordained minister but a new user of the forum. I am a Christian Minister in the UK and I am looking to see if we can get regular meeting arranged so that we can register the ULC in the UK as an official church of light and truth without walls. Would anyone be interesting in this?
  3. Good Morning, My Name is Pastor Mike and I live in the New Bedford, MA area and serving the people in need of spiritual faith. I specialize in dealing with Depression, Loss of Faith, Guidance in Christ, Weddings, General Services and Most Important Death. I visit many hospitals where people are preparing to cross over to our Heavenly Father. This is where most of my time is spent. I was told from my mother and others as a child that I would become a pastor and never understood why they would tell me this all the time. Although I never understood why strangers I came into co
  4. Hello all! Glad to see new faces here along with those who are still posting. It is comforting to know that in my absence the ULC continues in its work and its communities. Although I am not always officially "ministering" I am always on and always teaching. My life takes its twists and turns, and I go along with it. I am in a position to once again begin some kind of formal ministry in VA so I drift back to my ULC roots. And then it makes me think... What about the Universal Life Church today? What is its place? I have been ordained ULC for almost 20 years
  5. Hello All! I really am not new here, I just haven't been here in a few years. I became so busy in my employee as a nurse care manager, that I truly did not have time for writing! But I think God allowed me to retire just so I could give Him my undivided attention. He has been teaching me and preparing me for a new career at this time in my life. That of providing a ministry in my own back yard. I turn 60 in November, and that same month I will be starting a ministry program here in my tiny hometown. It is deep in the mountains of WV. There are no stores or gas stations.
  6. Hi Brothers, Sisters and all Siblings! Ordained today and just saying hi from England. I come from an Anglican background, but my faith nowadays is based around Nature and all her lessons, and the interconnectedness of all life. I don't have answers to everything, but I try to follow a path of kindness, openness and self-actualisation for all, and to be in harmony with the natural world. I plan for my ministry to be based around those things. Peace and health to you, Nik
  7. Dear Brothers and Sisters, I am joyful to return to our Community Forum. I had maintained my presence on here since 2013 until my account was recently deleted by the website for one reason or another. I pray it was not He who had chosen to remove my access, and I will make penance if it be so. God Bless you all, and tend to your flocks and the needy with kind gestures and warm acceptance. Assist those that need faith to help light their journey through this life. Be Well, Rev. Joakim
  8. Hello I am a UlC minister in blackpool, England, I am very interested in finding UK ministers in order to get to know, my email address is as follows benstokes514@gmail.com
  9. Hello, or maybe I should say Aloha. I've been ordained with ULC for 14 yrs. I have been a spiritual counselor most of my days on earth. Last year my son and baby brother died and for the first time ever I am in a crisis of faith... A grieving mother/sister that no longer knows what she believes. So I'm trying to find a church or something here in Hawaii to volunteer or work at to be around people of any faith in hopes that maybe it will rub off and heal me. Does anyone know anything about ULC in Hawaii that's more than a wedding officiant? Mahalo, Dhana
  10. Greetings and salutations. I am Brother Geordon Shoshin VanTassle, and I have been ordained since Sept 1, 1993. At that time, My wife and I were practicing Wiccans and I felt a duty to take ordination in the event that anyone in our community needed something "legal" that needed the backing of an established church. Nobody needed my help by the time that I moved away. Years passed. A divorce happened, jobs changed, I remarried. My second wife and I have been married since 1999, we had a child together and we raised our child and her two children from her first marriage into wo
  11. My name is William and I was ordained 3/12/2018, on my late mother's birthday (I think she would have approved). I live in New York and was raised Catholic but left that after leaving high school. I studied a lot of different religions., paths, and philosophies, light and dark, but felt a calling back to Christianity, but along the more progressive track. I feel that I can reconcile the more positive things I've learned with Christianity as the basis for a personal ministry. Not sure where to take it from there, but here I am! I look forward to meeting everyone and learning more.
  12. And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: 2With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 3So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and d

  24. Just wanted to get my own intro in here. I joined the site just this morning. So... on to the intro I guess... I'm in my mid-40s, Pagan since 1990 and interested in working on religious comparison and tolerance, particularly in the last few years. My Southern Baptist husband and I have been married for 22 years now without any religious conflict. I have one adult son who is currently undecided. So many people are leaning towards dealing with weddings and blessings, which are important and fantastic. But I feel there is a whole side being overlooked in the pagan community that deals with
