  1. yep, to change it would be against Kirbys ideals,

we wouldn't be ULC anymore, we would be something else.

that's why you see offshoot ULC churches thou,

they can operate as they wish. like that "catholic" group in FL,

he said Kirby was a devil worshiper. which is weird cause I read most of Kirbys books and never seen that. I became catholic because they was no catholic ULC branch, yet. well, none with verifiable apostolic succession.

  2. I have a Casio wk-3800 electronic keyboard, a trumpet and a practice chanter (for the bagpipes). I'm not very good but I practice when I can. The trumpet is for playing TAPS for the Bugles Across America group.

unless you take lessons you just have to play with it until you get good.

that's what I did. just sat alone in my house playing with my organ.

p.s. it helps to watch videos and listen to music.

This is my personal set of Futhark runes, crafted from yew wood, carved by sax (pointed carving tool) and stained the traditional way with, yes, me own Lifeforce (blood) and also colored for brightness and then sealed. I made these in 2000 after returning from Sweden and finishing my studies at Gambla Uppsala.

I had two sets prior to this, one made from a hickory branch and the other made from Birch twigs (long staves) which is known to be the Old Ways manner of making staves for casting....kind of like "Pick-Up-Sticks".

I've enjoyed seeing everyone else's goodies!

Don't know how I missed it either, but seeing the orig date...no wonder! Thanks for reviving it Windwalker!

    Blessings of Peace,

    ha, he said futhark.

be careful, he will rune you.

  4. Heck, as a ulc ambassador, I have a legal paper saying I can speak in the churches name. with no expiration date, signed by Kirby and lida and the church seal on it.

I could ordain in the churches name and send my ordination records to be added to the main database. and I could use ULC in my churches name too.

they even used to let us buy blank certificates once. until too many were issuing them without registering them with hq. so I could run my church as Kirby wanted or run my own version as a catholic group or whatever.

I don't like that one group in florida, he once told me Kirby was a devil worshiper and that's what he said in his books. which is not true. his views did sort of get metaphysical thou.

  5. Rev. Cam

I understand and u came to the right place

I must applaud you for be coming a rev. Welcome sis . And as so many tell me here there is women in the christian catholic

My favorites are mary madagalane mother mary . Remember allow god to guide you and you can send me a message any time . I been there . It sucks not for us for them .

I was ordained into the priesthood with a RC deacon.

he felt the roman church was not doing it's job anymore and wanted to become independent.

  6. Interesting topic. The RC Church is against anything that they think goes against their Supreme Laws, that is why they use the words excommunicate. Who is going to do this?, certainly sure the Pope won't and the lower priest crowd cannot, no authority, etc.

I wouldn't worry about it, do what you believe in.

That is the problems with any religion, if one moves out from the clan to do something else in a religion they are against it, one should not open their minds to another groups belief. Religions cause grief, wars, and pressures into any family.

You did what YOU wanted to do, and that is what it is about....FREEDOM of choice.

    REVPO

the RC church is just a old boys club.

tons of catholic groups told the roman popes where to stick it.

look at the english church, women can be priests and all can live like normal people.

Not that kind of voice, just feelings that somethings are worth sacrificing for.... NOW if I got one of those booming voices, burning bushes, I'd say I was in trouble. No those voices are just gut feelings that tell me that maybe its time....

not to be confused with the gut feeling you get with cheep food.

  7. I would love to be able to view the previous periodicals! I would find it an entertaining way to become closer to a church I have just joined. What's more, I would be happy to pay a "subscription" to do so!

just buy the old ULC books. some are still around.

one good one on history was the BufferZone. and all of Kirbys old books.

I think HQ still has copys. and maybe most of the ULC offshoot churches too.
