  1. Glad you enjoyed the show. Paint It Black has always been one of my favorites too.
  2. I am half way through Human Devolution by Michael Cremo. Slow going, but interesting.
  3. Bill, Time River seems an interesting book, it amazes me how people can go back in time and get such details. A few weeks ago I heard that folks here at Harvard were talking about changing the direction of the Charles River, at first I thought it was a joke, but was assured that its not a joke its for real. Have you ever heard of rivers being tampered with other than sand bagging.? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, but I know the Mississsippi changed direction for a while because of an earthquake. Goro didn't go back in time, he correlated the features of the rivers with past history, Egyptian mythology, Greek Mythology, and astronomy creating a time line for the rivers. The Mississippi is the time river for the US, and if Goro is right, then time is up for us. Of course that doesn't mean the end of the US, but it may mean the end of the US being the New World. Mars is set to become the New World and the New Frontier within the very near future. Finished with Time Rivers, and now starting Human Devolution by Michael Cremo; the alternate history of the human race.
  4. I just finished Goro Adachi's book "Time Rivers". He makes a strong case for intelligently designed river systems that produce valid historical time lines. You can get a taste of his theories on his website. I am about to start a book called "Human Devolution"
  5. I am... I love the HP books and movies.
  6. Looks interesting. I'll have to play around with it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What would you call that tuning? C# sus 4 ?
  7. Back in the late 60's there were these coffe shops where people would gather and play folk music and read poetry and such. Beatnik crowd I guess you would call it. I was more into rock and roll at the time. If you are using your pc, have you tried MultiTrack Studio recording software? It works really well. There is also a tip about connecting electronic instruments to a pc sound card on my website which you may or may not know about. Keep up the good work. The world need more creative people and less robots. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol, i keep getting this coffee shop connection with my music...i suppose it makes since... When me and my wife first split up she told me that we didn't match anyways, she was a small-town country girl, and I needed to be hanging out in a coffee shop somewhere. It was just funny because i had NEVER been to a coffee shop at the time, lol. I'm not sure if i've tried that one or not...i've tried a lot of them, the one i'm using now is Cakewalk. It's my favorite so far. I know it doesn't sound much like i used ANYTHING, but that was kind of hte idea...I wanted it to be really really raw, i wanted it to sound like I would sound if you were sitting around my bedroom listening to me just jam on my own free time. without the effects, without the pollishing and buffing. some of hte songs are for a potential demo, so i wanted it to be as raw and honest as possible. EVEN if that costs me my demo. I'd rather someone be interested in my music for what it really is than for what kinda commercial crap it can be. thank you, really Adrian <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You are going to have to look into that coffee shop idea. It seems to be hitting on you somehow, and hinting to you, or three of us wouldn't have made that connection

  9. Adrian, As an expert on musical suckiness, I think you definitely don't suck. Your music is not the kind I would go out and buy, kinda reminds me of late 60's coffee shop music. That doesn't mean it isn't good, just that it is not my style. I think you need to mix it a little differently, bring the vocals forward a little, don't hide behind your guitar. Did you record this in a studio, or on your pc? BTW, I liked Kiss best
