I grew up one of those children dressed in best and taken to turn every Sunday morning, But I never really felt anything in it and never understood the spiritual aspect of it. So make it simple I lost faith that i never really had, I eventually became a pagan for a few years followed by being lost in that area and being more atheist. That was until December 23rd 2002 at around 5 or 6 pm. It was a snowy day with about 8 inches of snow on the ground already and more still falling I was scared...very scared, I even hid the car keys from my mother and "acted" like i was looking for them. Well as i was outside by the car "looking" for the keys I felt someone lay their hand on my left shoulder, so quickly i turned around and there was nobody. My mother was still in the house and nobody else was there, at least not in flesh. I looked up at the cloudy sky but oddly enough starry as well, I instantly knew what was going on I could feel the most amazing peaceful feeling and I had this mind set like someone has whispered into my mind without using any words. I felt the message....I am still here and I still love you. It was mind blowing to say the least. That same week My mother and I found a church in the area and started going to the service and also dinner/special events. Then almost 1 year later in Oct. 2003 the home we were living mysteriously caught fire in the middle of the night. We would have been there asleep but my mothers Dr. appointment was rescheduled to the following day. Instead of driving home and back we stayed at my g ma's If we were there we would have been no more. As if by a miracle when we went back to church and they had heard about the fire....thanks to the church we had more than just the clothes we wear wearing even had shirts of my favorite color. Later it was considered that the fire was a faulty window a/c unit but never proved. I stayed in faith and i honestly felt that God saved us that night. But that is not all, a few years ago I was driving with my wife and child and as I was about to be struck by a semi truck sliding on ice i said "oh god its going to" the impact stopped my words and i won't forget the feeling of the brute force of the impact. Our car rolled twice and hit a tree and I was literally stuck in the car for around 2 hours. I never will forget the words that came to the amazed rescue team member.."Are you o...Wow how are you alive?" he said at looked at the car's damage both inside and out,to which i responded "God saved me" to which he agreed that me being alive was a miracle. Since my being rededicated that day in the snow I have had the dream of being ordained and help spread by testimony to the faithful as well as the faithless. Fo I know I have been given a calling, And what right do I have to say NO? I am now legally ordained by ULC as of 01/29/2011. My new road begins. Today is only Tomorrow's Yesterday. Learn from yesterday, Enjoy today, Live for Tomorrow, But remember Everyday is a day of the father.
