  1. I've been watching the discussion and enjoying it.

I'd like if you guys could send me any positive energy you can spare to keep to keep me strong while shoveling even more snow during the latest blizzard. I'm drained and stressed to the max even after hours of meditating to restore my sanity or little that is left.

I lost it this morning and got angry with the older females in the house and told them they should be out there making snow igloos for the homeless instead of talking about how cool it was that they were dumping salt laden snow into the Inner Harbor.

A lil late here, but I'll be assisting at 3:00 PM.....

    same time zone fawzo...

  2. Hi brother Sky,

To be a little clearer on my own personal perspective:

Allow me to ask a couple of questions.

First, can we agree that the basic intention of Almighty God (our One Source) is for the highest good of all the Created beings which emerged from the One Source?

If so, your personal basic intention "for the highest good" is at the fundamental foundation of all your doing, whatever that may be, as a healer. Then, you are fully aligned with the Divine intention when well prepared in your own state of conscious readiness.

The "belief" is not in the procedure but in the basic intention because procedures will vary according to the need of the moment and also according to ones limited range of concepts. "Procedure," which is not the basis of our belief in energetic healing, includes our preparation as an energetic healer. However, even when our belief is not in the procedure, that does not relieve anyone of the responsibility to be prepared to the very highest degree that is personally possible. In fact, your amount of preparation will directly reflect the strength and conviction of your belief in that basic intention for the highest good of your patient. You are steadfastly aligning yourself with that basic Divine intention by your careful and thoughtful preparation EVERY TIME before ever touching anyone. The details of such thoughtful and careful preparation will vary from healer to healer but most will say that meditation is basic.

All the focused attentions are only the outward methodology of conveying the energetic vectored intention for the "highest good" which is most often completely beyond our understanding because it is automatically customized to the individual patient according to their individual energetic signatures which can only be completely discerned through honed intuition which undoubtely is a great lack in all of us, since we are all rank beginners at this, even if we have been at it for twenty seven years as I have.

Otherwise we would be co-creating regular instant healings including regrowth of limbs, restored hearts, cleared mental and emotional problems and other phenomena that some would call "Divine miracles" and others would view as supernatural magic of the "devil."

Such an energetic healer would have to remain very hidden and incognito indeed or else experience the ruination of "stardom" being raised up on a pedestal of idolatry by millions and finally murdered when they did not live up to the imposed expectations.

And, that is exactly why that doesn't happen--but it is not "impossible" only highly imprudent. Of course, such energetic phenomena are neither "miracles" nor "magic" and most folks view them as "impossible" anyway--but they are not.

No, I never did such things but have experienced enough strange energetic phenomena to fully believe that they are entirely possible. I have absolutely no doubt that they are possible and know how they are achieved but they require a life style, focus and dedication that is way beyond me at this point in my human incarnation where I am only first coming into my understanding of the powerful beings we ALL are. A fact greatly hidden from us for millenia.

Such attentions may be the various methodologies that include Huna, Qigong, Acupuncture, Reiki, Herbology, Homeopathy, Chropractic, Christian Science, Traditional Alleopathy, Surgery, or whatever.

And, yes, the details of any energetic co-creation itself are sub-conscious (you don't need to know anyway) but the basic intention is very conscious if ones belief system fully and genuinely accepts it from the beginning and has no doubt about it whatsoever. And that includes no doubt about the fact that the highest good is the Divine Intention as well as your own. And you are aligned with that Divine intention. All you have to do is not get in the way of it.

There is no need to "wish" anything. In fact, a good example of "doubt" is "wish for." It is the "hope" that something might happen not the belief that the "highest good" for that moment will indeed be accomplished--but not necessarily according to your concepts. Also, "wish" includes the element of doubt that healing will occur at all. But, it may occur on a level deeper than you can readily see.

And whatever you "wish" or "hope" might happen is according to your highly limited concepts only, not the Divine intention for the highest good of all beings which cannot fail. Only your alignment with that Divine intention can fail by elements that might get in the way of it. It depends upon how clear an outlet you allow yourself to become. Living water cannot flow through clogged pipes but the sick person may be healed anyway because he has relinguished all his own personal baggage in that particular moment. "Your faith has made you whole." And there is more to that than a healed cut or a mended arm.

And your alignment with that basic Divine intention is simple. Only a full agreement without doubt. Any doubt means that one does not quite fully accept the Divine intention for the highest good of all created beings with which your own intention (as an energetic healer) can be fully aligned. For example, perhaps one still views Almighty God as one who curses and punishes those who refuse to fit into his doctrinal mold?

But, this alignment with the Universal Intention makes you an outlet of the Divine when it is not obstructed by doubt such as "wishing" for your limited concept.

"Wish for" is one's own supposition based upon ones own conceptual desire such as the healing of the disease or the relief of the person's pain with visual confirmation that such has occurred. Feedback that you "did well." A gold star on your report card. Pure egoism based upon doubt.

The conditions of disease and/or pain are only the outward symptoms of a far more basic spiritual problem manifested in someone's physical meat-sack.

"As a man thinks in his heart---so IS he." Your physical existence, including your biology and the environmental circumstances you find yourself in, comes from your non-physical THOUGHT.

This may be hard to grasp at first, but your entire 4D physical world is a holographic projection of your own thought. When we realize the truth of that, we rethink and begin to take personal responsibility for our own thoughts and also the circumstances we ourselves have already energetically created through them.

We no longer consider ourselves to be "victims" but powerful co-creators with the Divine. We can no longer "blame" others but are able to completely forgive them no matter how "bad" they were or what we thought they "did" to us.

Herein is perfect freedom from all bondage.

Yeshua well knew this of course. "You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." The turth is, you are responsible to know who and what you are and you are responsible for your own thoughts and your creations that arise from them. You can no longer play any kind of "blame game" at all. But, at the same time, no GUILT is called for only repentance which means re-thinking former false concepts that greatly hindered your life progress. The Buddhists simply call this "overcoming ignorance and suffering through self-realization."

There are many ways to describe it.

Intention, as used here, is a belief in the integrity of the natural process of energetic healing based upon how much one has actually seen and personally experienced of those natural processes in their own limited life experience and upon their degree of willing conscious alignment with that Universal intention which is to uplift Life in its incessant evolution toward growing awareness of the Source and how that translates into our daily lives in 4D.

In other words we have to get completely out of the way of the Source and that means dropping our own desires/wishes and allow any co-creation of our intention to naturally occur according to all the subconscious and conscious elements involved--and indeed it will because that's the way all creation occurs all the time anyway including art, music, architecture, construction, mechanical invention or dance. Every one of those is creative willful (intentional) manipulation of energy and, in its most positive expression, is for the "highest good" of all concerned. So, this may give you some idea of the Universality of intention for the "highest good." It can become the basis for all human activity. What a civilization!

No, creation didn't come to a stop after seven days but continues 24/7 even when there is no clock.

It is all a salty wet beautiful living tango of infinite intelligent energy which is both entropic and neg-entropic coallessing and dissolving, morphing, mutating and transforming through the vast matrix of a holographic manifold of space-time and time-space across multifarious densities and dimensions way out beyond our tiny circumscribed human imaginations. That is--the Great Creation but the First Source is even beyond that--even beyond the thought boundary.

And yet, it is a tiny singularity at the core heart of all in our present 4D holographic projection made up of our numberless individual holographic thought projections.

But most of all, it is our All-Parent and we can have real relationship with love unconditional. Amazing indeed. Awesome in fact.

In order for healing to take place, the healee must be ready and willing to open up to the possibiity in their own belief system. Or, you as the healer must coax the patient toward that, although you cannot do that for them only pave the way. They must participate in their own healing which also involves not getting in the way of it.

This, in my opinion, is why (for example) CHARGING MONEY for energetic healing greatly hinders it by introducing ulterior motives which are so subtle and so much a part of our common every-day experiences that few are able to recognize this as any hinderance at all. However, some do and have much greater success.

As far as I know, Yeshua never charged a single coin for his energetic healing ministry and neither did Gutama ever charge a single coin to learn about meditation or anything about the Dharma.

In our present society we need to learn that some things are not for sale.

This is what I mean by becoming an unrestricted outlet for the Universal intention of Source--instead of our own "wishing" which is a belief system that our wishful desire may (or may not) happen according to our own restrictive opinions about how we think it should happen.

We 'wish" to win the lottery. We "wish" that Aunt Maude will recover. We "wish" that our prayers will be heard and that some separated "God" will not turn a deaf ear and restrain his supernatural powers because of his angry fury. We wish that the highest good will be accomplished but lack the confidence that it will be accomplished because we are fully aligned with the Divine intention but well know that our individual baggage is still standing in the way.

"Wishing" is a belief system of doubt. It carries one away from the basic intention for the "highest good" while trying to make that "highest good" conform to our own very limited concepts. We have no idea what that "highest good" is because "highest" in the Divine intention is way beyond our cognitive thinking and even beyond our conscious awareness as well.

I think this is what the son-of-man was touching on when he used the term "belief." Making a "wish" is quite different than belief. It is very easy to "wish" for something not aligned with the Universal Intention for the highest good but actually only aligned with our own personal desires (wishes) which we only assume to be the "highest good" and our personal desires can be very short of the Universal Intention for the very highest good of all because that Divine element is far beyond our limited concepts and usually not even close to our constructed concepts at all.

Of course, if we think an energetic healing is due to our own cleverness or methodology we are setting ourselves up to be self-deceived--as you fully understand. You can see this every single day on so-called "Christian" Tee Vee and the many slick salesmen with $300 suits, hair-dos and expensive white shoes. A genuine energetic healer is certianly not a pop-star and is usually almost completely unknown. However, music can energetically heal and this is one effective methodology that I have personally used often with success--and without charge I may add.

The reason why a true genuine energetic healer does not advertise is because he relys totally upon synchronicity to meet those in need. When he does this, his own needs are always met. Although he is poor in the eyes of the world, he is never impoverished. Yeshua is the best example I know of. "Go and tell no one."

"Wishing" is ourselves determining what that "highest good" is and frankly we do not have near enough information to determine that. More factors are present than is readily apparent to our highly limited biophysical sensorium. There is a non-physical factor that simply cannot be ignored.

Perhaps that better explains my own view of it.

Having said this, I fully give agreement for you to wish for anything you wish to wish for because when you said "for the highest good of all" you are certainly on the right track and obviously HAVE had success with your "wishing."

I think that indicates that your belief in the basic intention for the "highest good" outweighs any disappointments you may have encountered in your doubt when a "wish" was not always fulfilled. But any lack of fulfillment may only be the lack of fulfillment of what you "wished" for and yet, in reality, it may have been the expression of the Divine intention for the "highest good." at that temporal moment, anyway.

Some folks fail to recognize the "highest good" even when they receive it because of their own limited conceptualizations and wishings which may even be contradictory to that basic Divine intention.

So, in my own experience, when through synchronicity the opportunity arises to apply energetic healing to someone who feels they are in need of healing, I look for a change of perspective and attitude when energetic healing is applied, not only physical proof of the relief of symptoms--although that at times has outwardly appeared spectacular and even stretched my own concepts of what I thought was possible. I too am a child of reductionistic materialist/realism. I too received my education in the public schools and universities.

The only way I can even begin to understand my own part in those instances of co-creation is my intense focus on that inner basic intention and my knowing beyond any doubt that it is fully aligned with the Divine intention I have just been speaking about. Certainly it is not about any methodology I used because that has been different in almost every single case according to the need of the moment and the individual patient involved.

I am not confined or bound by any one "system" because the methodology is the least important item. In my view, the basic intention is the most important element and that is what I continue to cultivate. It is very uncomplicated.

The fact is, we already live and move and have our being in an incomprehensible ocean of infinite energy and intelligence and apply it through our will ALL THE TIME. All of us do that whether we are aware of it or not.

I do suggest that it behoves us to become aware of it. All it takes is simply noticing it.

Energetic healing is nothing strange nor peculiar nor complicated at all and any lack of "success" I may have is only due to my own lack of preparation by not taking care of my own state of consciousness which determines my ability (or lack of ability) to interface with discreet energetic frequencies and thereby intuitively discern the energetic signatures of anyone seeking healing that I may encounter through synchronicity. A genuine energetic healer is not interested at all in procuring "clients." They are drawn to him/her or not drawn to him/her by synchronicity only.

Divine energetic healing is not a "profession" but a continual confession and proclamation of the One Source---the same One and Only Source that every spiritual teacher that ever incarnated on planet earth pointed directly to--never to himself.

That is my personal concept of it and it works for me. Brother Sky, you and I have the exact same basic intention, only, in my view, there is no need to "wish" for it because it is a Universally fully established fact underlying all the Great Creation in all the worlds of time and space. We are ALL already completely immersed in that fact and all anyone ever needs to do is recognize it and acknowledge it. But, they cannot do that until it is real to them and guides their belief system without any doubt.

So, this is my personal goal as a healer. And, even uttering these words of affirmation leads me further along the path toward that goal.

"That which I do, ye shall do also," said Yeshua, "and even greater things than these shall ye do because I go to the Father." That is for right now, not tomorrow or back two thousand years ago.

I don't just only have "faith" in these words because my ears hear them but personally believe in them because my eyes have seen and my hands have touched and I have experienced living water flowing out of my own belly and drank the living water of others as well--including everyone posting on this thread.

    Thank you all.

good stuff... things get so detailed in a subject like this that those talking about the same subjects will invariably have completely different ideas that add up to the same thing... there is a basic point here that i didn't successfully make.

Not every soul who goes looking for a healer is looking for a physical healing, or even necessarily a mental adjustment... I have had it happen that when an individual lays down on my table - even terribly sick - at times there is no Call or Desire for healing... This individual is in the defining moments of a Karmic experience.

Now just because one chooses to call themselves a healer does NOT give them the right to HEAL everyone who walks through the door.... Call them client, subject, soul, or ( illegally ) patient.

I believe that using language that is inappropriate will cause an improper response from the one who seeks your services... It is not the healers job to convince a soul that it is the proper time for healing.... or even that they need not follow a prearranged course that leads to physical death.... You say yourself that those who are ready for healing will find you, I say that even those who are NOT ready will find their way to your door.

I intend to bring NO judgement to my services. I am very clear that I am simply an instrument. I am the Gas which runs the generator, neither am I the generator nor the current itself. ANY healing which takes place, will take place as a transaction between the divine source and the individual soul. I am the environment which will allow them to make that connection. And what I do is simply a service I provide by being alive, I get no more credit for it than I do for breathing...

I was born with the ability to feel and affect energies, I was not given the Omniscience to interfere in anothers path. I KNOW beyond a shadow of doubt when I cross the line.... And without fail, when I am " sure " of what a person needs - I am always amazed afterward at EXACTLY what has happened... as of yet I have never successfully predicted the course of a healing.....

I have seen as many ways of healing as I have healers - I have seen impossible things happen ( from my limited human viewpoint ), I have seen Very Strange methods achieve glorious results. I don't know why I feel the need to explain this in detail that can be understood, except that perhaps someone with my understanding may come later to read this, and I could save them years of confusion with a few words...

Perhaps this slight difference in our awareness is entirely appropriate... there must be a different flavor for each set of tastes in this world and the variety on this planet is part of it's glory...

Rest assured there is no argument or disagreement here.... I always take the opportunity to dig for a little understanding when I speak to others who are called to be an instument of Love in this world... I have difficulty with this path for my own personal reasons....

better answer a few of your questions.... 1: Yes, but that simplifies things too much for my understanding.. Our Creator is our only source, but he gave us the keys..... and the abilitie to create for ourselves... It is our responsibility to make sure the energies we use using are not filtered through our subconscious... a difficult thing that does require HARD work... truly do you think using an ability that has atrophied in the human creature is an effortless thing? Where in our reality does success come with no effort? Being born with a natural ability has given me the ability to spot troublesome areas, time and experience has filled in some of the blanks, but I do not have all the answers... when we make the PERSONAL decision to handle these energies in a visible manner, above and beyond the average, it behooves us to make the extra study and effort to improve our services... actually its a matter that could take a loooong time to work out should we get lazy and let our ego control our healngs... there is a cost for derailing anothers entire incarnation....

Charging money for services - Not sure why so many folks are hung up on this..... is the root of all evil money? or is it the impulses people act upon? What is physical manifestation but the solidification of a divine thought? Physical manifestation is energy.... nothing more, nothing less. Currency is not an evil concept in this world, it is the physical manifestation of an exchange of energy... There MUST be an exchange of some sort in any transaction involving energy... Take money ( physical energy ) out of the situation and the energy must come from somewhere else... ofttimes from unpredictable sources... Not to mention the real issues that folks deal with involving whether or not they DESERVE healing.... as terrible as it sounds, sometimes folks need to feel they " earned " healing by paying for it... and it is not my job to criticize that.... thats where they are, thats where i will meet them.... I did not make up the monetary system, however it is a common arrangement agreed to by all who incarnate.... I do not hold myself outside of societies agreed method of energy exchange... I'd trade pelts for food if that was the accepted method.... and I haven't managed pranic nourishment yet.... :jest:

For ME, Nesty, there is a fundamental difference between " believing " that someone will be healed, and " wishing for " someones healing. I wish for healing for ALL who want it. I know they can have it.... it's right there with them already. The thing is: this soul is on a trip that covers a LOT of ground and " time ". ONLY THE INDIVIDUAL SOUL knows if it is the proper time for healing... My job may be to FAIL at healing an individual... and maybe in dramatic fashion.... But should my will be stronger than the individuals - I could FORCE a healing on them.... of course it will not take, but it could be a MAJOR stumbling block for the individual. It would bring the vibrations of a negative forceful encounter to a healers sanctuary.... an abomination. An outrage. And it happens..... Stand with my vision at the back of a tent where "sinners" are being healed........

What I would like folks to know is that in energy work, as in any other area of endeavor, simply having an ability is NOT enough. Using an ability is NOT enough. It is a starting point. ONLY. It is the glimpse of something greater, not the destination. It is your personal invitation to improve yourself, improve the vibration of the energies we are surrounded with daily. If we don't learn and improve at all times we are going backwards. How do we do this?? By using what we are given, and taking our cue that there is something here to dig into and understand. By turning our attention inside, to find the seat of the power we touch. As a healer, if you are not doing more work on yourself than on others, you are missing the point. The increased vibration of a true Healer will positively effect all souls which come into contact with it... even the guy behind you at the supermarket...... simply because the best Leadership is accomplished by example. The soul sees and hears all. The physical self does not fool the soul. When touched by a soul of higher vibration, the naural result is an increase of vibration... it may be temporary for the individual, but the glimpse is what is important... the simple presence of a person of high vibration will raise the vibration of everyone you meet, the place vibration of anywhere you go, and will act as a beacon for those searching for you ( those who show up at your door by... ahem... synchronicity )... so, in order for those who need healing to BE attracted there must BE an attraction... ( get it? like a magnet... literally... negative to positive.... opposites attract... )

  3. I feel your concern for these marines.

The Lord's " man on the job " is you.

They have the benefit of one who DOES care, in that they are better off than many.

You cannot take their pain, but you may share this pain with them, and perhaps lessen it that tiny little bit which will allow them to keep marching on...

You must trust the Lord IS guiding these souls to where they need to be.

May the Lord bless you, and keep you safe, for the work you do....

  4. These further thoughts come to mind.

However, personally, I would not use the words "wish for" but "belief in." Why? Because it is already an established fact in the realm of the established intention and only needs to be realized and manifested through conscious awareness of the already existing potential which has no objection since it is aligned with the basic intention of Universal Creation.

It may seem like a very small difference, however the difference between " wish for " and " belief in " is something I have tried to grasp for quite a long while.... At first it seems like a trivial distinction, and in the beginning the difference hardly mattered, however I began to feel a very distinct difference.

One of the hardest things for a healer to do, is to allow the healing to take place with no creative input from themselves... It is a very difficult thing because we are creating unconsciously at all times...

Too frequently I am introduced to " healers " who have made no effort to reign in their subconscious. Who have done no work on themselves in preparation for the activities they see themselves doing.... I have seen healers whose energies are more confused than the one to be healed...

I do not want such an individual " believing " in what they are attempting to do to me.... I would much rather that they " wish " for my best and highest good... They WILL be a conduit anyway, and I would much rather minimize the chance of their ego participating. Because it will.... and it will attempt to rearrange the subjects energies to match the healer' own.

I would much rather a healer acknowledge, on a very fundamental level, that the energies are NOT coming from them... that there is a guiding intelligence which will do the work.... and this basic undestanding must exist firmly to keep the meddlesome monkey-mind from interfering... The words we use to teach this understanding can be very important for it is a very hard habit to break. When you give the monkey-mind free reign, it will run amok.!!!!

Meditation and much introspection are simply a MUST for the aspiring healer.

I know i go on about personal responsibility - however one has a responsibility to first do no harm. There is work to be done to be assured of this.....

  5. Me too. Leads one to think that those "common themes" are very basic to how we as human creators create. The differences come, of course, in cultural metaphors to express them plus added ritual, some of which is excess baggage that may actually distract away from those "common themes." Ritual can focus attention beyond the ritual to those common themes, or it can become an end in itself and thus distract one from the basics.

    namaste

I have had reason to notice - that when dealing with some people - certain things which would at first appear to be cultural icons have a very strong effect on their energy levels and frame of mind.

For instance, for a few people I have met, focusing on a buddhist mandala while having a healing session results in a much more effective session, or soft flute music and the sounds of nature for another, yet another feels invigorated by the muslim call to prayer... These are not just personal preferences, their energy levels change in a substantial way during these specific circumstances...

My idea is that the soul resonates with certain practices from memorable lives.... Just the presence of these cues is enough to raise energy levels and stimulate the bodies systems.

This is part of the reason I am so adamant about the harm certain beliefs and practices do - not just in this life, but probably continuing... Imagine the hang-ups inherent in the experience of a life as a subservient partner to a domineering fundamental religious zealot....... and yes I MAY say this because I have felt the perversion of energies in an individual in this experience.... It is NOT a simple thing to assist in rectifying..

  6. My kids and I discuss this one often. One of the easiest ways I explain it would be to imagine getting a paper cut on your finger. The more you focus on it, the worse it hurts. The worse it hurts, the more you focus. You may actually become so obsessed with the little paper cut that you start picking at it, and it gets bigger... might even get infected. Now imagine the opposite. You get a paper cut instead, after caring for it, ignore it and before you know it, it's gone.

It goes both ways. Consider a wonderful synchronicity happening to you and you get really excited... more will happen. However if you ignore, either fewer will happen or you will fail to see them.

As to your question of intention, I find that fascinating. Consider this. Many new-age or metaphysical beliefs teach about creating a bubble of white light around you; more often that not for "protection." Consider for a moment if you are building a bubble around you to protect you from some negative situation. In truth, you are actually sending that very negative energy INTO to bubble and in essence, attracting the very thing you are hoping to keep away.

A story from the medicine cards is that of a rabbit afraid of the hawk eating him. At first the hawk doesn't even see the bunny, but the bunny's fears grow as he sees the hawk circling. The fear grows so big the bunny cries out "Oh please Mr. Hawk, don't eat me." Whereas the hawk hears the yet unseen bunny and swoops in to find it and eats it...

People often call to them the very things they fear with the focus and therefore the energy, just like in building a bubble for protection, etc. Make sense?

very good points for this topic.....

though the bubble thing is a newer perversion of a different teaching... everything benefits from being immersed in the Christ Consciousness ( White Light ). Though it is meant a a general tonic with no expectations..a wish for the highest good for the soul.. merely lending assistance in concentrating energy....

  7. I have no difficulty in accepting this perspective and tend to agree with you, Pete.

My problem lies with the folks who are constantly getting " a word from the Lord." If they indeed are getting God-breathed information, should that not also be included in scripture?

This ties in to what you were saying, and I believe God does speak to us through His Spirit, but it is for our spiritual education, correction and sometimes, rebuke. The "letters" of the NT are just that, letters written so that believers in Christ would have a foundation and direction to base their lives on. As usual, those who seek power have used what we term sacred writings to control people rather than set them free. This is true in any corporate religion.

I wonder at times if we would meet these writers today, would we consider them psychics? did they " get a word from the Lord " the same way? Does that, knowing what we know today about psychic phenomena, allow us to view scripture in an entire new light? Does it explain and excuse seeming conflicts within the text? so many questions......

However, ........ Infallible..... such a definite, concrete word.... Is anything in this world infallible??? Is it supposed to be? That question seems more apropos....

yes i agree with the idea here...

  8. Okay, the very first link in the google page I gave above is VERY good.

    Huna

Scrool down a little to the second box and there you will find a link:

    Huna principles

Very simple. Read that. I find it very basic and helpful.

    namaste

there are common themes within the belief systems of secluded peoples that I find verrry interesting...

Seems when people are left to their own beliefs they find certain truths... With the mixing of belief systems comes confusion and those common themes are replaced by adopted customs... The "why" behind the customs of generations gets lost when adopting a foreign belief system leaving nothing but the "fact" that must be obeyed...

Personally, I get much more excited about these traces of lost belief than I do about whats left..... It's unfortunate, but if you have studied many of the belief systems that we are losing forever ( or have lost ) there is a common handful of belief and practices that lead to a completely different set incarnational experiences..... the systems in place in our world that teach a solitary soul how to approach a series of incarnational experiences are disappearing at a frightening rate.... It gives me goosebumps each time I find remnants of TRUTH....

I have been teaching Huna for years... although my spirituality is an electric blend, Huna is my foundation. The 7 principles offer a beautifully simple way to walk your talk. Somewhere in the archives I wrote extensively about Huna, but I don't know how far back they go.

Oh, and a Huna Shaman is usually called a Kahuna, or Kupua, or even sometimes a Shaman or Priest.

OK, I'm sufficiently embarrassed...... how could I forget he was a Kahuna....... After all the Jokes my mind was making up after hearing his title and before my respect started blossoming.... I mean, the dude WAS the BIG KAHUNA.... he was stereotypical... and he was COOL ! ....Thanks Sky...

  9. In Huna it is understood much like a mango. The skin, meat and seed are all parts of the Mango, just different functions, etc. However, without all other parts, there is no mango. :)

And very nice to formally meet you also... All good things.

you guys......!!! I listened to a Huna Priest ( is that correct? - shaman?? )speak in yorktown, va. probably a little over a year ago, and was very interested in what he had to say.....

  10. The Spirit Never Leaves You

When you feel your Heart is Broken,

and Your Dreams are leaking out,

    You feel noone is watching,

    Or cares what you're about,

When you wish you had a hand to hold,

Or someone to light your way,

Or a hug from a friend, to sooth your soul,

Or a smile to brighten your day,

Stand in front of a Mirror dear Heart,

    and look behind your eyes.

The Love you seek, and dearly need,

    Is there! It's giant size!!!

The Spirit is with you, at all times,

With Glue to mend that Heart,

Not a single dream may escape you,

When you let The Spirit do it's Part.

The Love you seek is all around,

The folks here will hold your hand.

We'll always have a word for you,

So come to us to make a stand...

  11. Heres a thought I've been having lately......like two seconds after I read your post actually lol

When a person drastically fails their high calling in this life, say by commiting suicide or some other heinous act, what effect does that have on the job performance rating of that person's spirit guides.

I was meditating once and seemed to get a strong impression that a Guide is my next station on my Spiritual Journey and that the person I was going to be a guide for was even more hard headed and stubborn than myself, so I would get a better understanding of the torments that I have caused my own guides.

Seems we might effect quite a few more beings then just ourselves whenever we screw up!

I cannot tell you how many times throughout my life I have apologized to my guides... however in my most contrite moments, in meditation, I have gotten the distinct impression that there is no such thing as failure, merely a divergance from one focus to another. I picture life as a series of forks in the road... no roadblocks or dead ends... and every road leads home... and I'm beginning to think that most all roads will be taken before the end of the journey...

One of the hardest things to do is to picture yourself with a different personality, doing things for different reasons, with different motivations, but the personality is not really the true soul.... the personality is a garment for the soul - it is slightly different for each incarnation and we tend to judge our rights and wrongs by our present personality... perhaps these things we feel guilty about ( for the most part ) will not seem so terrible when viewed against the actions of past incarnations... yet another reason to get to know your TRUE self through introspection and meditation...

the above scenario was not meant to indicate failure - more of a change of focus where the person steps away from the hearler plan, and resumes work on another aspect of life and living... It would not cause a problem with the "Help", because there is no time on the other side, so no waste..... merely a change of mind by the incarnated one, who after all is the PRIMARY focus...

  12. Brother Sky, could you define what you mean by "someone" and expand a little on that point?

    namaste

sensed I left that vague on purpose, huh? :P

Sure, what I meant was that there is always at least one soul who is riding shotgun for the soul in body. A guardian angel, spirit guide, totem animal, etc. This soul has agreed to try to guide you, and try to help keep you on track for the physical incarnation. This is usually a soul who has incarnated with you before, is a member of a " soul group " which you belong to, is a companion soul,or any variety of individual which would have a " personal " interest in you. This soul will either assist with the healing or notify another who can help.

Others who can help is where people usually start looking at me funny...

Sometimes ( possibly frequently ) when a soul has planned healing abilities in this life, they are accompanied by a soul who is part of the plan ( as guide or as one of the many souls who come in assistance at difficult portions of our lives ). A Master Healer on the other side, who REALLY makes the individual look like a Master Healer in their own right... this not always the case.. sometimes due to wrong living and thinking, a healer will completely lose the ability - this is usually when the high-powered help steps back and leaves the soul to it's own devices...

Also in the line-up are Great Beings, Angels of numerous type and ability, Intelligences from other dimensions, and other unidentifiable entities. An experienced healer will have no doubt when these latter types of being are present, and I have seen more than one healer burst into tears from the contact... it is overwhelming and greatly satisfying...

But dont start looking for extraterrestrials immediately, you are much, much more likely to have a soul of recent affiliation who is still hanging about for whatever reason who will step in and make the contact, because of recent familiarity

Thanks for this brother Sky. Are you a Reiki practitioner?

    namaste

Yes, I am a Reiki practioner, and i wholeheartedly recommend it as a method to begin to learn to sense energy patterns. also of much use to me were:

Donna Eden's book - Energy Medicine

and Hands of Light by Barbara Ann Brennan

The thing is.... the training is much more satisfying to one who can feel the energy flows from the beginning. In the class for my second level initiation there were a majority of people who could feel nothing whatsoever when they first attempted to distinguish the energy. There were also a majority who still could not at the end of the classes. However that did not make much difference in the reports of individuals who received sessions. A few of the strongest positive reactions were involving brand new students. And I am assured that it is frequently the case... there were those who I was learning with who had no success in class feeling the energy, still weren't feeling it after months, and only gradually started feeling the energies, and probably never will have the same ability to follow along during healings, as one with a gift for healing... this does not make them any less of a healer, and at times the extra faith required will indeed assist in the healing....

  13. I've now started on A Short History of Byzantium by John Julius Norwich. We're going to be in Crete for the Eid hols, and I don't know very much about the Eastern Church.

JJ Norwich describes how the Eastern and Western Churches fell out...

In 484 there was a synod in Constantinople where Pope Felix III (head of the western Church, and still nominally head of the whole shebang) got so enraged over the Monophysite debate that he decided to excommunicate the Patriarch of Constantinople (head of the Eastern Church).

As they were in Constantinople at the time, nobody dared tell the Patriarch to his face.

    SO...

the anathama was written on a bit of parchment and it was pinned on the back of the Patriarch's cope during a service at Santa Sophia.

This has been making me laugh all morning.

I've just patented a new game called Schism! or, Pin the Anathama on the Patriarch.

I'm starting to feel like the pusher man here, but if you liked that - do try " The Bad Popes " by E.R. Chamberlin

And I'm still poring over " The Dead Sea Scrolls " - Wise, Abegg, & Cook

  14. I will gladly share all I know about Reiki. I was dubious at first but I found it to be a system which teaches the necessary basics to begin the process of unfolding the latent healer with all of us.

    Usui Reiki History

here's a link to the Reiki.org page.. there are many reiki programs offered over the net, but I don't possibly see how one could learn what they need to know, to be a serious healer, over the net... Theres so much help an experienced healer can offer...

the word Reiki originates from the words " Reku-Kei " Reku - vertcial energy flows in the body and Kei - the horizontal flows in the body.

Reiki - the art and science of spiritual self improvement based upon origins which go back to ancient tibet.

Dr.Mikao Usui is the originator of the Reiki system. He discovered Calligraphs depicted in the Sanskrit Sutras of Tibet and used them as the symbols used in Reiki. Originally these calligraphs were meant to be a focus for creating Mantric workings. It was the Tibetans belief that these symbols, when concentrated upon enough, would be implanted upon the consciousness, raising the consciousness and heightening awareness, while at the same time purifying the body/mind continuum.

After an experience in meditation on mt. Kuriyama, Dr. Usui felt he had been given a method of healing which he immediately implemented in the poorer districts of Japan. He was very successful healing the poor but was dismayed to find the people stil begging for a living because it was easier than working... upon further meditation he was " given " the Five Principals of Reiki.

    they are:

    Just for today...

I will give thanks for my many blessings

    I will not worry

    I will not be angry

I will do my work honestly

I will be kind to my neighbor and every living thing

there are three levels of Reiki

first degree - initiate recieves first set of attunments, learns all hand positions and how to work on self and others, learns energy sensing exercises, and practices.

second level - initiate receives second series of attunments, which involves further methodology through symbols to increase Reiki energy, learns distance healing techniques, and practices much more.

third level - Master level is a major commitment for service and training of others, Initiate receives Master attunements, learns attunement procedures, and continues their pracice.

there are many " attunements " which the initiate goes through, where the Reiki Master is channeling energy into the initiate and inscribing the Reiki symbols into the itiniates aura to increase the initiates ability to channel Life Force Energy.

In my opinion Reiki gives the aspiring healer a method to practice, which will eventually - if practiced enough, lead one to a place where one begins to feel the energy and get ever more sensitive to the direction and strength of the energy flows as well as the ability to immediately sense serious illness.

As a secondary effect and , IMO a very important one, one begins to feel the energies which are always present. The energies of people which surround you, the energies intrinsic to certain places which affect people, the interplay that goes on amongst the energies of people in close proximity.

once these energies are felt and experienced over a period of time, you find yourself responding to the thoughts and feelings of others almost subconsciously, laying a hand on a shoulder here, waiting for minutes for the proper moment to say a kind word there, approaching people with no forethought or really an understanding why, only to find the person needed you for a minute or a few seconds. When your intention is to do good, the situations where you may do just that will fall right in front of you.

  15. Isn't healing others like the saying give a person a fish and you feed them once. Teach them how to fish and you help feed them their whole lives.

Everyone should be capable of healing themselves of many small incursions if taught to do so. Shouldn't an emphasis on that be more desirable?

Most assuredly Fawzo, however, until the majority realize they need not suffer from accidents and unplanned illness, there will be souls who come to show the truth. Some will know what they are about, and some will not, but they will come in greater and greater numbers until a change takes place. Tis the way things work....

  16. You are not the first person to suggest I change the way I heal. And you won't be the last. However I do what works for me. You are right to say I am the conduit for the energy. Yet the purpose of the witch is to not only be the conduit but the conductor. To effectivly heal I must feel the persons pain so I can target. Its like healing from the inside out. I begin with the aura. Feeling its flow and colors. But I also delve deaper. I invision the the skin, the muscle, the organs. I feel what is wrong and urge the energy to heal it. I've never had the opportunity to do this on a major case continuously. I will say that I've healed small animals who would have died had I not interviened. Of course it takes considerably less energy to heal a small thing like a butterfly than it would a human. You are right to say its not just me. And I didn't intend to imply that. Its not just my energy. When I heal I am the conductor to the energies of the universe. That white light flows from me into my "Patient". But its not enough just to have that energy flow. You must be able to direct it.

I apologize if I offended.. of course you will follow your path exactly as you should..

It's just that for the empath, healing can be dangerous. My experiences have shown me that even when I most desperately want to help another, if the healing does not come, there is a reason that I do not understand, and by shifting and moving energy patterns around you can cause other problems to surface... thereby earning yourself negative Karma for interfering... It meant the difference with being worn out after a healing, and being energized when I made my personal discovery... And I hope you are not offended when I say that there is ALWAYS someone to direct the healing if you let them... In my experience, there is no easier healing than an animal, they have no interfering Karma and just a request and the energy flows...

  17. I think our mindsets are the most imporatnt part of healing. Whatever one wishes to label these sublime energies, chi, pranic etc etc, they aren't going to help anyone who doesn't want to be healed.

and pile onto that the fact that some conditions are Karmic, and we don't have anywhere near the vantage to understand why this person chose to have a serious illness in this life, and a healer's job tends to have thankless periods...... :(

  18. I also am an energy healer. I have always had a natural gift to facilitate healing. This led me to gain my Reiki certification in the Usui Shiki Ryoho Lineage. I felt my instructor was experiencing the same intuitive and physical understanding of the energy patterns as i was, and his experience helped me greatly. However I am not a reiki fanatic - the symbols involved, to me, point to the symbolic nature of communication with the subconscious.

I could relate pages of personal experience with healing, pointless i think, not really convincing second hand....

I WILL say however, that I AM convinced. I feel the energies on my skin, and after lots of practice, i can successfully determine disturbances in ones energy field. I can feel the activity , height, spin, and health of the major chakras. I can trace the energy pathways in the body to find related conditions ( some which may not be presenting themselves at the moment ).

I have experience with energy workers, who after years of practice working with energy flows, begin to see the colors and shifting movement of the energy field surrounding their client. Though this is rarely something the healer wishes, yet , to be very verbose about...

Very correct. I'm an energy healer BTW. My healing is very much effected by will and thoughts. If the person I am healing is unwilling to allow the energy to flow then I can't force it. If for some reason I have an abhorrence to the person (Maybe they make me uncomfortable or I feel that they are not a good person) I cannot force myself to heal them. That being said, I can't perform miracles. My healing is normally just pain relief. And sometimes that is only brief.

When I do it, I focus on the aura. I connect with it through my hands. I see not with my eyes but with my mind where the aura is "bad". Sweeping away these dark spots and replacing them with bright white light will effect their overall health. Of course it can be targeted to a specific area as well. Removing headaches is pretty easy. Though I get a killer headache afterward. So if I do a healing, I consider it a gift to whomever I've performed it on. Because afterward I always feel whatever pain they have until I release it.

If you don't mind, I could offer suggestions from personal experience....

please don't take this harshly but - you don't heal anyone... you are able to open yourself to THAT WHICH HEALS ( which most folks call God... it's his ability alone... ) but it IS a GLORIOUS THING to have planned that for yourself this time.... if you have ever heard that saying " Let go and Let God ", that is exactly the mindset which will free you from ever having another facilitators headache... when you realize that with no effort of your own, mental or otherwise, healing will be effected as fast, if not faster and probably much more effectively.

What you do not see is the help a healer receives when doing their thing... the healer's main job is to bring the energies into the physical, being the conduit - so to speak, those energies will be directed much more skillfully and to much greater effect if the job is left to the individual's spirit guide or one called in for the task. I am not saying you shouldn't experiment to feel the energies, and target trouble spots, because proximity does help an "in person" healing... just that you shouldn't be thinking to yourself " ok, now i'm gonna fix this here ankle...little tweak here, little smoothing there....". The idea should be concentrating to be as open a conduit as possible - meditation is best, but simply clearing your mind or concentrating on being a conduit is acceptable... not trying to steal your thunder, but you HAVE given yourself a gift others would steal for......

  19. Meanwhile Dan watch the news with what is happening with the people of Haiti and multiply that by Gawdzillion times and think of all the evil and suffering he has allowed since the earth was formed and you want to ask him why he stood by so long watching with his 3-D glasses and eating popcorn.

well Fawzo, that answers itself..... 3-D glasses.... when have you ever seen a pair, and not put them on to see if they really work?

I guess it comes down to research. Can a person demonstrate that a person who has had hands laid upon them stands more chance of recovery?

actually yes.... if you have a genuine question, there is a reason Reiki practitioners are starting to be found in hospitals..... the studies allow them to be there, because of the positive differences noted.... very striking effects at times too....

  20. I believe the forgiveness was for their ignorance of what they were doing. Like innocent children who are incapable of understanding and haven't the knowledge to distinguish right from wrong. Since they sinned in ignorance of the truth, Jesus did not hold them accountable. If they had known better and willingly killed the Son of God, then I believe there would be consequences unless they repented

beautiful explanation of the Law of Karma.... and for the efforts to bring us that Dispensation of Love - Thank You Jesus !
