I felt more of a sadness. I will pray for our friend, that God helps him with the splinter in his eye. I am sure someone, a time ago, was praying that I would see also, for I was once blinded. The spiritual concepts that we have and share with each other, though at times different, are all clouded by that "dark glass" which separates the carnal from the spiritual. One thing I realized is that when we gaze into a darkened window, we tend to see our own image disrupting the view beyond unless we get real, real close and cup our hands to the glass. We must be cautious that we do not dwell on our own reflection as we peer into that window, for once we get past it, we begin to see much more clearly.
I wonder at the causes which encourage a person to cling to beliefs which are so extreme.... It sets the stage for a difficult incarnation, and much hard work... From me, savedintheson gets Love to fill the holes, and Light to find an easier way... I will pray for a positive resolution to the situation which brings them to us, and that the spirit of communication which pervades this forum will stick with our friend here..... in case they begin to see a different way...

Yesterday was very strange changing weather all day. Sun, rain, Sun, Hail, Sun. Last time we had that I was in agony. Yesterday I had no pain at all! Not even a little. When I woke up my back and neck popped a few times, then I was fine all day!
It's not strange, dear heart, it's the answer to your true desire... it's between you and your creator....
but hearing of your relief surely makes me happy for you...
You have your attention, now spend some time in quiet contemplation, ask yourself why this manifestation was necessary.... what is your pain trying to bring to your attention?...
Please don't answer me, that is not for me to know, but for you to understand...
Tsukino_Rei, I am a healer, who is disabled..... There are Karmic illnesses, and there are accidental illnesses brought on by personal choice, and there are illnesses which are manifestations of a conflict of thought, which leave an unease within the body...
of the three, the only illness which is so stubborn as to resist the TRUE desire for healing, is a Karmic transaction taking place....
My friend Tsukino_Rei, you have a beautiful soul - you will come through this with an understanding which will make it all worthwhile....

I sometimes am affected by knee and hip pain. I have tried the normal joint meds available in the local pharmacy and none of them helped much. I will admit that they did help some. I was setting up a new online business when I became an affiliate with a natural remedy company. I found that they had a tablet called Joint Ease Plus. I found it to work much better than anything that I had ever tried before. Here is a link to the website Native Remedies. once there, search for the term "joint".

I would like to ask our other energy healers if they have been noticing subtle " differences " lately in their healing sessions..... anything strange happening lately?

I think it's mostly my joints but the pain causes other muscles to tense up. On the bad days medicines haven't been working anymore. I've started taking fish oil last week, I think it's too soon to judge the effect. I'll look into the glucosamine, I've not heard of it before.
I've had temporomandibular joint disorder since I was a teenager - which is fancy doctor speak for something wrong with my jaw. Doctors have only very recently, within the past 5 years, started to acknowledge and do studies on weather triggered pain. Prior to this patient complaints have been concidered largely anecdotal rather than diagnostic; which has sucked. Since the pain has been getting worse I've been keeping a pain diary to take to my doctor so that there will be a record of frequency and severity that can be correlated to weather patterns. Recently I've been able to find more research and theories regarding weather related migraines. This leads me to believe that this is becoming less of a fringe problem and more people must be coming forward with weather related complaints.
I currently have some very strong addictive pain killers which I have only been in enough pain to take twice - both times they just took the edge off. Not that I really want to be dependent on drugs anyway.
Often the pressure will build and build and build - then flash, thunder, downpour - instant relief coupled with a few seconds of vertigo - then my stretches work again and things snap back into place with a blessed crack and pop and I can be pain free until the next time. I'm sure there have been times and cultures where sensing weather changes in such a manner might have been beneficial - but not this one! Tonight is shaping up to be an unpleasant evening unless *fingers crossed* we get more rain.
I would like to add a few thoughts now.... had to make my suggestion about hemp oil first....
I am 6'7"... I have had occasion to be concerned about joint function... I grew 2-1/2" in one school year as a young adult... the cartilage in my hips and knees was rather abused from lots of rough use... The glucosamine chondroitin ( check that for spelling - feeling lazy ) was truly a boon... it has performed what feels like a miracle...
I also have a condition which causes much difficulty through inflammation... when i was in a state which allowed medical marijuana, it's benefits to me were clear and undeniable... now i must use aspirin...
beware of the side effects of aspirin.... It is terribly hard on the teeth, if you must use it frequently spend much attention to cleansing the teeth. Pay attention to injuries when taking aspirin... a nose bleed led to a transfusion for me... also, aspirin has led to an ulcer or two....
now, specifically, TMJ - my sister, who recently joined the forum, had a severe problem with TMJ.... her jaw would actually get locked open.... and even when it didn't, she suffered pain from it... several years ago she found a doctor in virginia beach who offered an outpatient surgery to fix it.... she has had no problems in the years since the surgery.... i don't know how similar your condition is to what hers was, however hopefully you will find relief....

here's a little lighthearted story which relates to the above question of awareness...
I have been doing my meditation outside lately as much as possible. Nice sunny spot on the grass, sunshine shining down.... nice.
A very peculiar thing has begun to happen.....
I am not a person who sees something mystical in the ordinary everyday happenings around us.... I don't see a guiding hand, necessarily, in fortuitous happenings... odd things happen which can't be explained... I'm ok with that....
here's the odd thing thats been happening :
when i sit on the ground during meditation, i seem to be attracting critters from below the ground....
In a two-week period I have had three moles ( possibly voles...
) surface under me... not just digging around in the ground under me, but actually come out of the ground and go beneath me while in a crosslegged posture... one actually climbed onto my boot....I have also had one corn snake slither from below me.... that one shook me out of meditation..... shocked i was.....
This is a peculiar thing as i am fond of meditating on the earth, have done it for years, and have never had these things happening....
Do you suppose there could be a reason why this is going on? My meditation has, as a part of it, a call for Love and Healing directed at the Earth itself.... I wondering if these critters are sensing the energy i send and are disturbed by it....

And how much weight do you give to the fact that the people writing these articles were late Bronze Age and Early Iron Age men who lived in a world full of mythological exaggerated stories and myths?
Or do you personally feel that every story has its basis in some truth. Take a many headed Hydra for instance.
I'm not sure exactly which articles from the LBA and EIA men you are referring to......
I wasn't necessarily referring to the stuff from the site... I've said earlier that i wouldn't personally vouch for the things on the site... just a resource for articles to track down and such...
Personally, until i have verification that a story is indeed true, it must remain, at best, simply a possibility ( with various degrees of probability ).....
and the reason i posted the info from the cayce readings is because they mention many of the topics which you will stumble upon on the ooparts site...
Including mention of " mythological " creatures as living breathing animals...

when i read the stories and tales and teachings from all the religious and spiritual texts that i read on a daily basis, i do my best to consider that there may have been translation issues, there may have been changes to the various texts, that there may have been simple misunderstandings which introduce confusion...
with the amount of references to giants to be found one has to wonder exactly what are they referring to....
There are specific points that were being made, i wonder at times exactly what they were...
i found a few interesting quotes from the edgar cayce readings....:

According to the Book of Enoch the giant children of the fallen angels were about a mile tall. I don't recall anyone ever finding those bones, but I suppose the The Flood could have taken care of that. That alone would be cause to call them great. As to the age of the Earth... well, if you were an eternal being looking for something to do would you whip up the universe (as is) in a flash, or stretch it out over a few billion years?

it's your thought that the folks being talked about in the book of enoch used the mile as a unit of measurement?? uh, ok..... thanks...... i needed that.....
if you are an eternal being, whats the difference between a flash and a few billion years? And how would the created beings be able to tell the difference....? perhaps we are talking about a few billion years which are nothing but a flash to our creator..... perhaps no more than a " day "?

I much prefer house calls when giving Reiki treatments. I even bought a travelling table. The added insight provided by a glimpse at a persons living space makes a good deal of difference at times...
I have never taken the time to study Feng Shui, however I personally suspect that there is much useful about it, from what little I do know... At times I will recommend changes to the spaces people spend the most time in....
I suppose I should look deeper into Feng Shui.... seems would be the responsible thing...
I have noticed a difference in the energy of a place which has a tidy appearance... and clear open spaces....and as a result, the person's energy is at higher levels... a person with higher energy levels is more inclined towards spiritual exploration.( well, exploration which isn't born of desperation...)...
As a general statement addressing the topic, I would say that Yes, a person's environment plays an important part in their well being... Spirituality included...
