Can I get a little feed back on the topic of being born again is the renewing of the mind?
Is the total renewing of the mind that important if a believer wish to change their ways, pick up he cross(have and display the character of a renewed soul) to show herself or hisself a born again man, woman, girl or boy(teens) that d over?has trully crosse

For me it seems that being born again is only the start of the renewing of the mind. A study of the word repent tells us that repentance is a changing of the mind. For me a total renewal of the mind is a process. It took (in most cases0 years to develop a bad mindset and it can take years to change that way of thinking. In my opinion, the conscious effort of being determined to renew your mind is the first step to changing the way we think.

Hi Dave, if you want info on the JWs I am glad to send the documents from REACHOUT TRUST. I an not sure if I can send it to your ULC account. Best wishes, Pete

Hi Pete, I received the files you sent. They appear to all be there. It looks like there is a lot of useful information in there. I'm already starting to see some of the things mentioned in the headings of those notes. I've only been to 3 meetings so far and in every one of them someone has at least hinted at something (different) that goes against the doctrine I believe.
Thanks for the help Pete,
Dave

Well Pete I went to the website reachouttrust.org. There is a lot of information there. I'm not sure if it has everything you were going to send me but it looks like it may take me a while to look at everything that's there. From what I've read so far they would probably choose to disassociate themselves from me if I would just tell them outright a few things about my spiritual walk with YHVH. But I'm going to let things unfold naturally. They are already trying to get me to come to a Wednesday evening "meeting". I've already attended 2 Sunday meetings.

Hi Pete
Sure I'll look it over. Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts. So far things have went smoothly. It seems an elder has been coming to my "Bible study". I let him know that I intend to challenge him when we get to the chapter in their book where they start to lay groundwork for disputing the trinity. He just smiled and said okay.

I just wanted to say that I have a lot of respect for you and your ability to hold your own here sometimes when it seems so many jump against you. I would have thought there'd be more Christians here from what I've read of the older posts, but seems they wander away. I may not believe the way you do, but you are about the only Christian here who posts and I learn a lot of the Bible beliefs from you.

Dianna, I agree. Dan is probably the most active Christian here. I have commended him before for his willingness to stick in there and give a Christian view when he is usually outnumbered. I used to enjoy the debating when I first joined but it seems that the same arguments are simply rehashed with different people year after year. While Dan and I may not agree on every jot and tittle of doctrine, I believe we agree on the fundamentals. One of the things I find so refreshing about Dan's style is that even if I don't agree with him on a specific stance he has taken, he is able to give scripture showing how he came to that point of view.
Props to Dan.
Keep fighting the good fight.
