    I just finished reading the Kushiel's Legacy series by Jacqueline Carey. It began with Kushiel's Dart. It's a well written, richly textured historical fantasy that combines spy drama, political intrigue, sacred sexuality, spiritual themes, and magic. If you like fantasy it's worth looking into. :-)
