  1. Oh green-eyed cat that tortures me so, Playing with the ribbon you stole, From my bucket of ribbons by the table leg, A minute later a sudden loud pop, I jump to my feet in fear for my life, Looking down I see the Cheshire grin, Of that green-eyed cat with a tattered balloon, In his sharpened claws, Oh green-eyed cat that tortures me so!
  2. Holy Macarolli!!! That's a lot! HAPPY BIRTHDAY
  3. I would say it does from personal experience. As I have grown my affirmations have been solidified within my faith, although I do remember the first time my eyes were opened. That was a rush! I don't believe you have to be old to be wise though, as I know some stubborn self righteouss old folks who have gone to church for 40 years.
  4. That is so true! I am into Quantum Mechanics and Physics rather deep, so what you just said makes perfectly clear sense too me, however my wife and my son would be completely lost saying things like "huh, I don't get it." To which I usually say "I know". There aren't a lot of Quantum physicist who are atheistic becaue physics is all wrong and we know that now, we know sub-atomic particles literally appear and disappear. The answer is why? And where the hell do they go when they aren't here? Quantum Physics have given science a level of spirituality that is far more mature than most ancient religions. One thing you said is you "know" where God is. You didn't say believe or think, which are negative references to authority! However with the wrong inflection knowing just comes off as arrogant. When I read and study Quantum Physics it feels too me like it starts up in maturity where Gnosticism left off before they were slaughtered by the Holy Roman Catholic Church. I am sure you are into Quantums as well, since you are into science, but incase you aren't I thought I would bring it up as something for your mind to nibble on in your off time. Perception rocks, especially for those who meditate on it and think about it often. It truly is the fountain of youth, so to speak.
  5. SWEET! I love Nag Hammadi codices! Jesus in Gnostic teachings was exactly as you say; He was trying to teach us that God is free and everyone can be as the priest and have a direct line of communication to God. Jesus often humbled himself before people even in the conventional Bible saying it is but for his father and not him that all things happen. 325 years Christianity hid underground teaching and gaining strength. Constantine being the wise leader he knew that if he made Christianity the state religion it would slow down the violence within Roman borders, and then Christians could become soldiers in the Roman Army, thereby beefing up their front lines which had been getting battered by Germanic Galls and such. The first thing Constantine did when he took over Christianity (The Holy Roman Catholic Church) was make it as paganistic as possible. He also sent out his armies to destroy any Christian sect that didn't fit within Constantine's orthodoxy that he created by showering priest with enormous wealths. The monks and teachers of numerous sects of Christianity were murdered, if this is so then there must be truth within the Nag Hammadi texts and it needed to be crushed, especially if everyone could have a direct line to the Holy Spirit. To answer the original question "sin" would fall under stupidity because ignorance is not knowing better, stupidity is knowing better but doing the opposit anyway. Love, Adam
  6. Fear is what the church used for centuries to curtail the evildoings of men. We have more atheists today now than ever before, sure they claim to be a part of the Christian Community (once again out of fear because they don't want to burn in hell, so it is a escape clause), but the fruit of their trees show a difference ~smiles~. The media takes little things that are going on far away and takes that little 3% and spawns fear with it's 600% coverage of the 3% of reality that goes on ~sighs~. The sad thing is people do not unify to stop this because they are too busy trying to be a bit better than their neighbor. That is what happens in a competitive capotilistic society ~smiles~. Fear is an illusion, if you are confident in your faith regardless of what it is you have no real fear because you understand who you are, what you are doing, and what it takes to die without resentment or regret ~smiles~ Love, Adam
