  1. One of our members on FaceBook who has moved to the Netherlands is having difficulty finding out about her legality to marry others as a ULC member there. Language difficulties and people with no idea of the concept of ULC are hampering her attempts at getting any answers.

If anyone here has any info or could direct her to a source where she could find answers any response would be appreciated. Thank You!

  2. Being a Catholic--I actually call myself a renegade Catholic, and I shall die a Catholic,in fact my dedication is to our Blessed Mother entirely!--however I have no problems with being here. Even if I were excommunicated by the church,to me it would make no difference--I would still attend church and do what ever what my heart says. No man can tell me what to believe, the relation between God and my self is personal. To me religion is a way--but faith, my belief- is to me God.

In fact --I have many religions within my heart, and I practice a few within my life- Hinduism, Budhism and a few others--they all lead to God--Our Lady was asked in Medjugorje what is the true religion--She replied , I am paraphrasing: All religions are the same in the eyes of God as long as it is followed properly- for it all leads to God.

One can be a Catholic, and have other apects that ring true within one`s soul--and as to what the parish priest would say I wouldn`t at all care. They are human, they may have more theology behind them--but they know no more that the peasant woman in Peru as to demonstarting God, the after life, or knowing God`s heart. --to tell you the truth--the truth lies in our hearts--only God counts and what He tells me or you-and how we conduct our lives. I am sure there are more Hindus,Buddhist and other faiths than Catholics in heaven ;-)

    blessingsa and love-welcome!

Do you believe that Mary remained a virgin even after the birth of Yeshua?

  3. Any time any one says there "can't be" or "isn't" one thing or another is merely stating their opinion, based on the information they've had the opportunity to discover. I've come across very open and closed minded 'scientists' in my life. "Scientific Facts" are what they/we know today, it can and does change in a heartbeat based on new discoveries. The Hadron Collider at CERN, for instance, has opened many a closed door based on out dated thinking. As we progress, both in technology and in human knowledge, the world will change many times over the next millennium.....and the next....and the....

I once had a discussion with one of our engineers at Sony R&D, Palo Alto (now So. San Jose) about the possibility of the Adam and Eve story.....a week later he comes up to me with a clip board with a dozen or so pages of mathematical equations and scribblings on it...."7 women and 12 males is the least common denominator for the 6 billion (1981) people today, without the gruesome results of inbreeding!" I had to take his word for it as anything beyond basic algebra and geometry is not only Greek, but mind bending, to me. The only reason I still believe his calculation today is because it has been collaborated by a documentary on human evolution I watched some years after that encounter on which an anthropologist stated similar numbers (8 women and 14 men).

While many people in fact believe the Creation story account in Genesis, I believe something completely different about Humanity, however also believe that Eden may indeed be a real location.

As far as Sheldrake goes, I've seen many of his videos and agree with others here that he does put forth some compelling evidence as to the dogmatic approach much of science takes today. But isn't that true of any belief people have? And for his list of 10 things Science should reconsider....Amen and pass the katsup.....I'm fairly certain that at least part of that list will be proven correct....exactly when? 10, 100, 1000 years from now?, but it all goes back to what we know today.

    Blessings of Peace,

Atwater Vitki all those folks like your engineer friend who use statistics such as the one you mentioned to try to show the statistical improbability of humans surviving from just Adam and Eve or the 8 folks still living after the Noah Flood events aren't using their heads. Every mammal and species on our planet evolved and exists from such small groups. I can't believe anyone who believes in evolution would even give such an argument an iota of credibility :)

  4. I think many Christians feel that if they were to read those other sacred writings "inspired buy the devil" they would be tempted and deceived.

Their Faith in their belief system is so feeble they don't want to be influenced by other information like even science for an example.

  5. Since I am a direct descendant of the Point Of Singularity, I have the power of the whole Universe backing me. Who needs silly priests or dogmatic religious institutions to reinforce my authority.

BTW - Please don't mention that everyone descendant from the same source :)

  6. There's nothing non-Christian about hating an act of inhumane violence. "Hate the evil, and love the good" (Amos 5:15). God's forgiveness does not extend to the unrepentant or those who don't ask to be forgiven.

My point was that when you have mercy on, or forgive the unrepentant, your pretty much endorsing and promoting their sin, and God hates sin. Jesus didn't have much mercy when he chased the moneychangers out of the temple with a whip. And Jesus asked Peter to put away his sword because Peter was interfering with Christ mission.

This is just my more conservative view, and I know it flies against the view that many Christians have of an all-forgiving lovey-dovey God. Vengeance is God's, and its His promise that unrepentant people who commit these brutal crimes will become the object of His wrath, and I take solace in that.

Daniel claimed ..."My point was that when you have mercy on, or forgive the unrepentant, your pretty much endorsing and promoting their sin, and God hates sin......tell me again why Jesus came and died such a horrible death?!?!!?!

  7. bloody inconvenient for them not to stay scrunched up so I don't have to do all that extra work!!!...actually it is for making altar and/opr ceremonial tools. It cannot be used to draw blood or anything that would be spiritually or ritually impure.

Could you envision a modern Wiccan having a Dremel on their altar or would that be too modernistic.

  8. An educated convict is less likely to re-offend when released back into society. A "free" education is a small price to pay to keep someone out of prison. Personally, I don't think anything can possibly be "free" to someone who lives imprisoned.

I agree. It costs methinks approximately $35,000 a year to house them in corrections facilities might as well educate them and quite possibly make them useful to society. Did you see the article where Denmark is closing prisons because of a lack of criminals?

  9. Which earthly court has jurisdiction to bring this suit?

    :D

The group Ray-El is claiming that their Messiah and his father are directly responsible for the natural disaters which are affecting the Seat of Satan (aka USA) since this Messiah is an Amercian Citizen an ex-convict named Raymond Howard Lear, I would think any court could charge him and his followers with terrorism since thay are basically pleading guilty, or charge them with faud or at least a brief stay at a mental facility to make sure they are mentally sound and not a danger to themselves and others.

  10. There is no loss of property. All property is God's, including all people. He has simply broken his own things. It is his own right. If anyone does not like the situation, they can simply not exist. We do have free will, after all.

Humans have children and property as well and are not allowed to destroy or break them freely a lot of times. Try to abuse your own kids or burn down your own house.

  11. Dan we know God had no problem killing children and women and even condoning rape.

Since the Bible claims God is in complete control of the weather shouldn't all the Organizations here on earth that claim to be his direct representative then be held liable for the damages he caused and made to pay restitution for loss of life and property?
